Mission Statement

To create welcoming spaces full of whimsy and joy, nurture authenticity and creativity, and support the local community through art and performance.

Fae Realm Productions grew out of a shared dream to create whimsical experiences for those who need it the most and the drive to thrive as creatives with technical backgrounds. Everything we create through design and production is made with the intention of highlighting diversity while accommodating mobility and sensory needs. From fashion to flitting faerie friends, our team builds on a community-oriented foundation for a future that includes and supports us all.

Hadrian Woodard

Co-Founder | they/them

Hadrian has always loved art, music, and performance, but spent nearly all of their schooling focusing on technical skills in mathematics, data science, and statistics. Upon finishing their degree, they realized that their burnout would prevent them from using their knowledge and skills in a more traditional way, and needed to figure out how they could still work. Along came Zephyr, who reminded them of their love of artistic expression and their suppressed dreams of succeeding in the arts. When the two of them started Fae Realm Productions, Hadrian’s passion for performance was reignited. They hope to bring work opportunities to and greater representation for young creatives with dynamic disabilities.

Kelsey Zephyr

Co-Founder | they/them/she/her

Zephyr’s vast and varied backgrounds center around leading people through experiences and driving change. In 2021, a forced health journey changed their life trajectory, and boudoir modeling and showing at NYFW was just the beginning of shifting away from Corporate and toward wellness and authentic expression.

Theater, largely technical, has always been a home and an inspiration to Zephyr. Fae Realm Productions utilizes these skillsets across live shows, collaborative events, and so much more. From costumes to choreography, serenades to swinging hips, Zephyr brings creative magic to the table, with imagination and initiative to spare.

Fae Realm Origin Story

Zephyr has been performing, traveling the world, and creating and selling art through Zephyr Lifestyle for many years, and through doing so gained a globalized perspective on making and community building. They started getting involved in queer performance communities pre-covid, and after taking a break through the pandemic they were ready to return, both performing and producing primarily in Eugene.

In that time, Zephyr met Hadrian, who was finishing college with a STEM degree and newfound levels of disability that impacted their ability to work. The pair’s romance came together as they navigated sociopolitical shifts in their environment, and they both found an overall need for safety, wellness, and joy within their communities. After discussing at length how they could work together to help the situation, Zephyr asked Hadrian to be their business partner and start a production company, Fae Realm Productions, with them. Hadrian, of course, said yes, and, with the help of a friend who also wanted to start producing, the team co-produced their first event in under a month, Apocalypse in Glitz: New Year’s Eve Vaudeville.

Since then Fae Realm Productions has produced several vaudeville shows, been hired entertainment for the Albany Mushroom Festival and the Corvallis Arts Center’s SpecTACular sponsorship gala, delved into wedding entertainment, vended at other showcases and Renaissance Faires, and are now investing in a storefront in Downtown Corvallis’ The Plaza!

The team’s goal with Fae Realm Productions is to use their various artistic skills, combined with their technical backgrounds, to continue to bring whimsy, accessibility, protection, and security to the queer and disabled communities they are proudly part of, and to uplift the voices of those they are not.
